Hotel

„

Very nice hotel with about 60 rooms. Was opened less than 2 years ago (2007). It has a wonderful lobby, with a magnificent view on the pools. The nationalities are: Germans, Belgians, Dutch, English and eastern Europeans (Russia, Poland, etc). This behaviour of these eastern Europeans was more than acceptable. So no need to stereotype them. NB: we are a family from the Netherlands.

Zimmer

„

We had a spacious familiy-room with 2 LCD-tv's!! The room was cleaned every day, and every day fresh towels. There were 2 automatic airconditioning devices (which we did not need in February). The bathroom was large, with an excellent separate shower.

Service

The staff is very friendly. We have had experience in other hotels that was much less. Without exception all of the staff we met spoke English (I don't know about German, but like it or not, English is the international language). The only negative issue was the restaurant. Not in terms of friendlyness, but in terms of capacity, there was not enough staff. This caused the tables not te be cleared and people having to wait for a clean table.

The food was magnificent! Enough choice, variety etc. Every night there was an outdoor bbq. A mix between Oriental and European food was available every day. People who dare to complain about the food in Titanic Beach must have dinner in a 3-Michelin-star restaurant every day,

The hotel is located near the beach; it takes about 15-20 mins by taxi to travel to Hurghada city, but this should not cost more than 5 euro. The airport is also 15 mins drive.

„

The pool is immense. A large part is heated. The hotel has its own aqua-park with 7 or 8 different slides (most of then heated). Each slide has its own supervisor. There is no need to reserved beds with towels; there are plenty of them. Still many people do so....

If you take a taxi to the city, only use the orange / blue ones. The others are not legal. In case of any accident the passengers will be responsible, so you may end up in jail!!
